Nov 26, 2017 This particular aspect is a bit complicated! As you can read on this page: or-mac-os. When i bought my new Mac Pro 2.8 Quad Core, Leopard was installed. I've upgraded it to 5.6, downloaded and all my favourite programs again (universal Binary). When i wanted to run MpegStreamclip 1.9.2 it went wrong. No images and i needed to install Mpeg2 playback Component for Quicktime.
I bought a new computer lately because my old one gave up. When i bought my new Mac Pro 2.8 Quad Core, Leopard was installed.

No images and i needed to install Mpeg2 playback Component for Quicktime. Because me old computer was gone, including my harddrive i've got some new codecs from a friend. I don't have my apple id and password anymore to get an upload for free!
I'm running v1.0.1 And i have 2 codecs but they don't work both of them. These are the versions: Can anyone tell me or explain why i can not run Mpeg2streamclip anymore? Or can anyone tell me if i have the right ones? Also is having troubles too in when trying to crop or using decode with Quicktime. I'm going nuts after 3 weeks and i need to get these programs running. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for your answer but it seems you can't read. 1.) It's simple too buy a copy from the store, for that i did'nt need help. 2.) I've bought a copy a long time ago.i don't buy a new one. Just spend 2500 euros on a new computer. 3.)I don't know and have my apple ID anymore. 4.) I only wanted to know if the components i've listed are the ones.
And if so why don't they work. I wonder if everything installed on your computer is legal! If so you are a saint. Probably also the only one who does not have stolen software! Probably also the only one who does not have stolen software! My apologies for the offense. When someone posts they are trying to install commercial software they received from a friend – yet they don't have the installer – it does hint of stealing. I did give you the benefit of the doubt by pointing out it can be downloaded again by logging into the Apple Store.
Sorry you forgot your Apple ID and didn't save a copy of the installer as a backup. My advice to you is to be more aware of how you describe things in your posts so that it doesn't look the way yours came across. To get this back on track and away from who is stealing or not stealing what, to the OP (original Poster) it doesn't work, because it isn't properly installed, and a necessary reciept wasn't written to the proper place, thus insuring your legal use of the codec. Simply put, yes you have the codec, but NO, you do not have it installed CORRECTLY using an Apple installer, which authorizes the codec first via Admin password, then writes a reciept to the proper folder.
If I were you, I'd call apple direct and get them to send you a link back to download the installer, by using the Credit Card you paid for the item with. (Apple Store purchases can be tracked by either Account ID, Web Order #, or the Credit Card you used to purchase said item). And in the future, do two things: One, make a PDF of ANYTHING you order online, so you will have a reciept showing your user name, credit card used and web order, in case you need to download it again.
And two, Learn to use the Migration feature in Leopard. Had you done this from old mac to new mac, you wouldn't even been asking this question.
