RPG Mac Games – TOP 5 – A few days after we presented the TOP 5 Action Games for Mac, we came with another leaderboard, this time for the RPG genre. Games from this category are probably the between the most loved ones because of the intense gameplay and storyline.
Focuses on Action, and Fighting element developed and published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. It is the ninth entry in the long-running series of Tekken and introduces new stages, characters, and items.
There are a set of characters such as Katarina Alves, Lucky Chloe, Shaheen, Saudi Arabian, Gigas, etc. And the game supports both Single and Multiplayer modes.
To get into the game world, the player has to select his hero and fighting against other rival characters to complete the match. Each character has its unique story, fighting style, combo, and skills. The game focuses on the one-on-one battle and includes two new mechanisms such as the first and Rage Art. Each stage consists of two levels and offers different environment. The game goes tougher as the player progress through it.
The player has to avoid enemy attack using block features and attack opponent using the skills. With enhanced mechanics, addictive gameplay, and superb visuals, Tekken 7 is the wonderful game to play and enjoy.
Oblivion on the hardest difficulty from start to finish is easily the hardest game EVER, maybe even impossible. Zero9167 That has more to do with gimped leveling system and character devolpment. You can cheese the system because any where around by making LOGICAL major skills for acllass such as run will screw you in the end. Its pretty rediculous. To have people claim that it is a top notch RPG (in the sense of stats, character devolpment, interaction with characters or the complete lack of with the case of Oblivion with pretty much 0 choice making) is mind boggling.
Alot of games on hardest difficulty is really hard at times. Farcry, and Call of duty 1 come to mind. Where a errand shot or two will kill you, which makes matters worse when your fighting hordes of guys. I also find it hard to believe that people think Dawn of War is harder the Warcraft 3.
Not saying one is better then the other, but Warcraft 3 requires borderline insane micromanagement, playing a computer on default difficulty will get you steam rolled for a long time. Then after that on the hardest difficulty it gets to the point where the computer will pull out guys low on health so units retargeet on other guys and bring them back in the fight in rediculous times. X3 Reunion is pretty tough as well. I'm really surprised Far Cry made so many lists.
There were a lot of websites that made fun of the AI on harder difficulties because as long as you stayed low in grass or bushes, the Ai would never see you unless they were on top of you. Also, Starcraft and WC3 were easy as long as you used the attack-move buttons, never played much DoW. The only micro that I found necessary (not useful, necessary) was heroes in WC3 to turn tides of battle.
But we all have different playstyles, so I suppose we will disagree on what's hard or not based on how we do it. I'm really surprised Far Cry made so many lists. You think attack move is all you need in Warcraft 3 or Starcraft.
You need to either play harder difficulties of the CPu or play online.
